Scarlet Enclave Raid - WoW Season of Discovery
The Reborn Council is a high-intensity triple boss encounter featuring Herod, Vishas, and Don. All three bosses must be killed around the same time to avoid deadly mechanics being introduced mid-fight. With a brutal 5 minute and 30 second enrage timer, this is a major DPS check and requires precise coordination, optimal positioning, and high raid uptime.
Stack multi-dot classes: Warlocks, Shadow Priests, and Boomkins shine here, as they can DPS all three bosses at once.
High-mitigation tanks: Preferably rogues or similar classes for Herod.
Healing: Spread healers around to adapt to Don’s unpredictable teleporting.
Reset the bosses by pulling them out of the room, then move your raid to the top of the stairs.
This safe zone avoids lava from the middle and tornadoes on the outer ring, allowing for maximum uptime.
Vishas: Tank him in the safe spot at the top of the stairs. Melee and casters can cleave from here.
Herod: Tank about 15 yards to the left of Vishas. Close enough for cleave but far enough to avoid whirlwind damage in the safe spot.
Don: He teleports randomly. Ranged should focus him throughout the fight. Melee must stand between Don and the wall to avoid knockbacks into lava or Herod's Whirlwind.
Whirlwind: One-shots non-tanks. Tank should eat the damage with cooldowns.
Radiant Divide: Frontal split-damage – ignore with tank cooldowns.
Swirlies: Dodge while repositioning.
Avatar: Mini-enrage – use defensives.
Divine Strike: Yellow circles to avoid – two hits will kill you.
Peeled Secrets: MUST be interrupted. Assign 2–3 players for rotation – a missed kick = wipe.
Grow: Teleports and applies bleeds (Gro) to random players. Heal through or remove with BoP, Ice Block, or Divine Shield.
Rend Flesh: Tank debuff (350 damage per stack). Swap tanks, bubble it off, or use a third tank.
Fireball: Interruptible, but low priority.
Blast Wave: Knockback within 8 yards. Stand between Don and the wall or stay 10 yards away.
Lava in Center: Stay on the stairs to avoid.
Positioning is crucial to avoid getting knocked into lava or Herod’s Whirlwind.
Lava fills the middle of the arena – never fight here.
Tornadoes circle the outer edges – stay on the stairs or inside ledge to dodge.
Use GFPs and Frozen Runes to help mitigate environmental damage.
Slow: Affects the entire raid – dispel to maintain attack speed.
Imbued Assault: Targets tanks – dispel quickly to reduce incoming damage.
Do not kill any boss early or you will trigger bonus mechanics:
Kill Herod first = more Divine Strike stars.
Kill Vishas first = Veil of Darkness (continuous movement debuff).
Kill Don first = unclear, but suspected stacking fire debuff.
Best practice: kill all three bosses at the same time to avoid chaos.
You’ll likely need to overfill your raid (30+ players) to meet the tight DPS check.
Keep everyone on their toes – this is a mechanically demanding fight with little room for error.
